Peru Packages

Our Peru packages are long-stay itineraries that combine 3-star hotels, transfers, the Lima–Cusco flight, the train to Machu Picchu, entrance tickets and professional guides. Choose 7 days (Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain), 9 days (adding Paracas, Ica and Humantay Lake) or 12 days continuing to Lake Titicaca and Bolivia.
See Peru’s main destinations in a single itinerary. Our Peru packages are made for travelers who want time to experience the country, not just see it. They are long-stay itineraries that bring together hotels, transportation, professional guides and organized tours, so every Peru trip package runs smoothly from start to finish.
Walk the colonial streets and try the local food of Lima. Visit the desert oasis of Huacachina and the coast of Paracas in Ica. Sail to the floating islands of Lake Titicaca in Puno, and explore the Amazon rainforest of Tambopata. At the center of it all is Cusco, the starting point for most vacation packages to Peru, and Machu Picchu, the ancient citadel of the Incas.
Whether you’re looking for Peru holiday packages for the family, a cultural trip or a longer adventure, our Peru travel packages let you explore more and worry less. Find the Peru vacation packages and Peru tour packages that match your travel style. If you have one week, our 7 days in Peru itinerary explains the day-by-day order and why the rest day in Cusco comes where it does.

How to Choose Your Peru Package
Three questions settle it for most travelers: how many days you have on the ground, how well you expect to handle altitude, and how much of Peru you want to see beyond Lima and the Cusco region. Count days from the morning you land in Lima, not from the day you leave home. Our packages start with an airport pickup in Lima and end with a transfer back to the airport, so the number in the name is the number of days you actually spend in Peru.
In short: one week points to the Peru 7 Days package; nine days and an interest in the coast point to Peru 9 Days, which adds Paracas, Ica, Huacachina and Humantay Lake; and 12 days with Bolivia on the wish list point to the Peru and Bolivia Tour, a group departure from 10 travelers. The Uros Chimu homestay is a 2-day add-on for anyone already heading to Puno, not a full package.
Which Package Fits Your Trip
| Package | Where you sleep | Transport between regions | High-altitude days | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peru 7 Days / 6 Nights | 6 nights in 3-star hotels in Lima, Cusco and Aguas Calientes | Flights Lima–Cusco and Cusco–Lima, round-trip tourist train to Machu Picchu | Rainbow Mountain, 5,200 m | A first trip to Peru in one week |
| Peru 9 Days / 8 Nights | 8 nights in 3-star hotels in Lima, Cusco and Aguas Calientes | Bus Lima–Ica–Lima, flights Lima–Cusco and Cusco–Lima, round-trip tourist train | Humantay Lake (about 4,200 m) and Rainbow Mountain (5,200 m) | Coast, desert and Andes with a little more time |
| Peru and Bolivia Tour | 3-star hotels, plus 2 nights on overnight buses | Flight Lima–Cusco, tourist train, public bus Puno–La Paz, semi-bed buses La Paz–Uyuni–La Paz | Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain | Two countries in 12 days, as part of a group |
| Uros Chimu Homestay | 1 night at the Chimu Island Lodge on Lake Titicaca | Boat from Puerto Titicaca, about 25–30 minutes; getting to Puno is not included | None; the islands sit at 3,817 m | An add-on to a stay in Puno |
Who Each Package Suits
- Peru 7 Days: travelers with a single week of holiday who want Lima, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu without having to plan flights, trains and tickets themselves. It departs from 2 travelers, so it works for couples and friends.
- Peru 9 Days: travelers who want variety. The Ica day trades mountains for sea lions, sand dunes and a pisco tasting, and Humantay Lake gives you a second high-mountain hike before Rainbow Mountain. Also from 2 travelers.
- Peru and Bolivia Tour: travelers with 12 days who would rather see the Uyuni Salt Flats than spend free days in Cusco, and who are comfortable with two nights on overnight buses and a group of 10 to 20 people.
- Uros Chimu Homestay: travelers who want to sleep on a floating reed island and spend time with Uros-Aymara host families instead of making a short boat stop. Book it alongside your own trip to Puno, or ask us how it fits around a package.
- Not sure any of them fit? If you need fewer high-altitude days, a different hotel category or extra nights, tell us when you write. The Peru and Bolivia Tour lists hotel upgrades, private transport and extra nights as options on request; for the other packages, ask us when you book.
Altitude Is Built Into the Order
Every package flies you from Lima to Cusco and leaves time to adjust before the high hikes: the 7-day package keeps Day 3 free in Cusco, and the 9-day and 12-day packages also give you an acclimatization day before Humantay Lake. Rainbow Mountain, the highest point of all three at 5,200 m, comes near the end, when your body has had several days at altitude. Our 7 days in Peru itinerary explains that logic day by day, and altitude sickness in Cusco covers what to do if you feel it.
If you already know altitude is a problem for you, mention it in your inquiry. Horse service at Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake is not included in the packages, so ask us about it when you book if you think you will want it.
When to Travel
Our packages run all year. Roughly May to September is the driest stretch in the Andes, with clear mornings at Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain, and it is also the busiest time for trains and entrance tickets. November to March brings more rain in Cusco, though the coast around Lima and Ica stays dry. April and October sit in between. The Inca Trail closes in February, but that does not affect these packages: they reach Machu Picchu by train.
For Lake Titicaca, our team’s pick for the Uros Chimu homestay is April and May. For a month-by-month view of Machu Picchu, read the best time to visit Machu Picchu.
Booking Tips for Peru Packages
- Send names exactly as they appear in each passport. Flights, train tickets and the Machu Picchu entrance ticket are issued in your name, so a spelling mistake causes problems at the airport or the gate.
- Tell us your arrival flight and time. The Lima airport pickup is included, and we plan the first day around when you land. Early check-in and late check-out are not included in the 7-day package; ask us if you land very early.
- Book early for the dry season. Domestic flights, trains and Machu Picchu tickets are limited, so the earlier you book, the more choice of dates and times you have.
- Decide about Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain before you book. Neither is included and spots are limited. Our guide to Huayna Picchu vs Machu Picchu Mountain helps you pick one.
- Arrange travel insurance yourself. It is not included in any package, and neither are international flights.
- Payment: a 40% deposit confirms a package. Balance, payment methods and cancellation rules are on our booking and payment policies page.

Peru Package Questions
Which Peru package is best for a first trip?
For one week, the Peru 7 Days package covers Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. With nine days, the Peru 9 Days package adds the Ica coast and Humantay Lake. Both include the domestic flights, the train and the Machu Picchu ticket.
Are domestic flights included?
Yes. The 7-day and 9-day packages include the Lima–Cusco and Cusco–Lima flights. The Peru and Bolivia Tour includes the Lima–Cusco flight and then continues overland by bus to Puno, La Paz and Uyuni. International flights are never included.
Can I book a package if I travel alone?
The 7-day and 9-day packages run from 2 travelers and the Peru and Bolivia Tour from 10, as group departures. If you are traveling on your own, send us your dates and ask us what we can arrange.
Do you have a 10-day Peru package?
Not as a separate package. Our 10 days in Peru itinerary is built on the 9-day package plus a free day in Cusco. If you want to add days to any package, ask us when you book.
Is Huayna Picchu included?
No. Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain are not included in the packages and their spots are limited, so tell us early if you want one of them.
How do I confirm a package?
Send an inquiry with your dates, the number of travelers and your arrival flight. A 40% deposit confirms the booking; the rest of the terms are on our booking and payment policies page.
