Tour Details

Machu Picchu – One of the New Seven Wonders of the World

Machu Picchu is one of the world's most iconic archaeological treasures and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, a recognition it received in 2007. Built by the Inca civilization high in the Andes, this ancient sanctuary is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remains one of Peru's most important cultural symbols.

Its importance goes beyond its impressive architecture and history. For many visitors, Machu Picchu is also a place associated with spirituality, energy and a deep connection with nature. Some Andean spiritual traditions and modern visitors consider the surrounding mountains and sacred spaces places of powerful energy, and there are beliefs that being in Machu Picchu can help restore balance and reconnect with one's inner self.

Its global importance is also reflected in the number of people who travel to experience it. Between 2007 and 2023, more than 17 million visitors reached the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, making it one of the most significant cultural and tourism destinations in Peru.

Rainbow Mountain – A Natural Wonder of the Andes

Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, is one of the most distinctive natural landscapes in the Peruvian Andes. Its striking bands of red, yellow, green and other mineral colors were formed by geological processes over millions of years, creating a landscape that looks almost painted across the mountainside.

Located at more than 5,000 meters above sea level, its high-altitude setting makes the landscape even more remarkable. Today, Rainbow Mountain has become one of the most recognizable natural attractions around Cusco and an important destination for travelers looking to experience the dramatic scenery of the high Andes

Lake Titicaca – The Highest Navigable Lake in the World

Lake Titicaca is one of the most important cultural and natural landmarks of the Andes and is widely recognized as the world's highest navigable lake for large vessels. Located on the border between Peru and Bolivia, the lake has played an important role in the history, traditions and mythology of Andean communities for centuries.

Its islands and surrounding communities preserve living traditions that continue to connect local people with the lake. The Uros and Taquile communities are especially known for their cultural heritage, traditional textiles and ways of life closely connected to Lake Titicaca.

Uyuni Salt Flats – The World's Largest Salt Flat

The Uyuni Salt Flats, or Salar de Uyuni, form the world's largest salt flat, covering an immense area of approximately 10,000 square kilometers in southwestern Bolivia. Its vast white surface creates one of the most extraordinary landscapes in South America.

During the dry season, the salt crust forms geometric patterns that stretch toward the horizon. During periods of rain, a thin layer of water can transform the surface into a giant natural mirror, creating the famous reflection effect that has made Uyuni one of Bolivia's most recognizable landscapes.

Sacred Valley – The Heartland of the Inca Civilization

The Sacred Valley of the Incas was one of the most important regions of the Inca Empire. Its fertile lands, rivers and favorable climate made it an important agricultural area, while its strategic location connected Cusco with several major settlements and religious centers.

Places such as Chinchero, Moray, the Maras Salt Mines and Ollantaytambo reveal different aspects of the valley's history. Together, they demonstrate the Incas' knowledge of agriculture, architecture, engineering and their close relationship with the natural environment.

Humantay Lake – A Sacred Lake in the Andes

Humantay Lake is a striking turquoise lake located high in the Andes beneath the imposing Humantay Mountain. Its intense color, surrounded by rocky peaks and glacial landscapes, makes it one of the most remarkable natural settings in the Cusco region.

The lake is also associated with the spiritual traditions of the Andes. Local beliefs connect the surrounding mountains, known as apus, with protection and sacred forces, giving Humantay Lake significance beyond its natural beauty.

Huacachina – An Oasis in the Peruvian Desert

Huacachina is a small desert oasis surrounded by enormous sand dunes near the city of Ica. Its unusual combination of a natural lagoon, palm trees and vast desert landscapes makes it one of the most distinctive places on the Peruvian coast.

The oasis has become an iconic destination in southern Peru and is closely associated with the desert landscapes of Ica. Its surroundings also provide the setting for activities such as dune excursions and sandboarding, adding an adventurous side to this unique coastal destination.
